Pricing and Ordering

It is difficult to really know what it will take to restore a photo until the image is scanned into the computer and we start to work on it. Therefore we have come up with a “you can’t go wrong” approach to pricing. We will scan, make minor corrections, make a print up to 5×7 of our work for just $40.00 plus applicable sales tax and postage. Larger sizes and additional prints are also available. In a good many cases this is all you will need and you will have an archival photograph that looks as good as it did when it was first taken. Plus the option of extra copies to share with family and friends. However if your original needs some special consideration, we will advise you as to what the options are and how much they will cost. No matter what you decide to do, you will end up with a print of your photo that is at least as good as the image you supplied to us for only $40.00. In situations where there are a large number of images there are options to reduce the per image price significantly. Once I know what you want, I can tell you how I can do it.

Whenever possible, it is best if we work with the original photograph. Not only does this give us the ability to make the best image quality with our scan, but also gives us the opportunity to really study the subtleties of the original. There are times when this is not feasible and we will indeed work from your scan. For quality results, your scan should be at least 300ppi at 100% and should be in PSD or TIFF format.

We have tried to simplify this part of the process as much as possible. Unfortunately each project is unique and we stress the importance of communication to determine how we can give you exactly what you are hoping to get.

Other services such as head swaps and montage work are priced on a job to job basis. The difficulties of each such assignment is unique, but upon finding out what your needs are I will be happy to give a quote for the completed project.
