When I first became interested in computer photo restoration work I read about as much on the subject as I could find. The one problem I never saw addressed is the kind of "silvered" look that some old photos get. A normal scan turns the silver gray, but it is still there. Using my background knowledge in photography I tried a different approach and it worked. Depending on how bad the effect is I can't guarantee to make it totally go away, but to date I have had a 100% success rate.
This photo it an example of what you might expect for very little more than the base $35.00 charge. The total for this project was $50.00.
